We use what is called a Negative Air Flow process which is recommended by the EPA to be the best way to improve your indoor air quality.
Air Duct Cleaning Process:
1. We start by using a hole cutter and cut a 8'' hole in the return and supply duct, which are cleaned separately. ( Hole usually cut on the trunk line near furnace based on accessibility)
2. Then our 20 HP vacuum is hooked up to the return side through a series of 8'' vaculite hoses running from the vacuum to the duct to create a negative air flow.
3. We then start at the furthest return from the furnace
and work our way towards the furnace vent by vent using our deluxe hurricane whip system to agitate any dust or other debris throughout your ducts.

(With flex duct we use a little different system. We use our forward flow duct ball because the material would rip using the whip system.)
4. Once we get to the trunk line we drill a few 1'' holes spaced out along the trunk line and run the whip system throughout the trunk line to make sure everything gets sucked out.
5. We then repeat the same process for the supplies .
6. After the system has been fully cleaned we patch the 10'' holes with patches made out of the same material as your ducts with foil tape around the edges to create that air tight seal. The
1'' holes are patched with our
1'' caps for the same air tight seal.
7. Finally, upon request, the final step is to sanitize. We use a product called EnviroCon. It is highly effective in eliminating odor-causing microorganisms as well as those associated with mold, mildew and bacterial growth.
8. The final step is to clean up and make it look like we were never there. Except for clean air ducts!
Dryer Vent Cleaning Process:
There is no way to access your dryer vent except from the front or back of the vent.
So we use the air compressor with the hurricane whip system except we use a different technique.
1. First we take off the flex duct connector which is the piece running from the dryer to the dryer vent and take it outside to be cleaned.
2. Then we run the air compressor hose through the vent running towards the outside with our forward flow duct ball.
3. After we run it through the front we go from the outside using our reverse flow duct ball to remove any other lint build up near the mouth of vent.
